THE SCORE
Nordstrom’s Cyber Week campaign, “The Score,” featured bold, pixel-inspired typography and playful motion. I created animated and conceptual email designs as well as social media ads, adapting the campaign’s distinctive look across multiple channels.
APPROACH
Because many sale items sold out quickly, featuring specific products wasn’t an option. Instead, I identified top-selling items with a more generic, timeless look and reimagined them as 8-bit pixel art. A vintage LED-screen texture and choppy animation style reinforced the nostalgic “cyber” theme.
Inspired by classic arcade games like Tetris, I developed playful, simple game-style animations that brought the campaign’s retro-tech aesthetic to life.
